An awesome and unforgettable vacation! Squid fishing was fascinating and the staff also helped instruct really clearly with great English. Both dinners on 2 evenings offered great dishes of Vietnamese and Western cuisines. I paid extra for a room with a terrace and it was totally worth it with relaxing moments and splendid views. In the morning, the air was a little foggy, making it hard for sightseeing.
An incredibly unique and spectacular experience! I really enjoyed Sena Cruise and would love to recommend it to anyone. The boat was lovely and well maintained with up-to-date amenities. The whole crew were enthusiastic, especially Mr. Sunday. I never got bored during the cruise thanks to a lot of activities. The bays and Cat Ba Island were awesome and I would love to explore more about Cat Ba some time. Views from my window on the main deck were a little bit limited, but the room was absolutely superb.
Sena Cruise featured traditional styles but with modern facilities. Its size was not too big and not too small, making us feel cozy and comfortable on board. The sundeck had a cover on the top, making it pleasant no matter the weather. The activities were varied, including kayaking, swimming, spring roll making, karaoke, etc. I personally think a 2-night cruise would be ideal for exploring Halong Bay. Meals were devised and quite delicious, the cruise catered for so many dietary requests. The bays were gorgeous with calm seas and magnificent limestone karsts. The rain prevented us from enjoying the trip to Cat Ba Island, but still it was a nice vacation!
Pretty accommodations and excellent food. Meals included more western cuisines rather than Vietnamese ones. The guide was always happy and optimistic and did everything to make travelers happy. He was also a magician and very talented. Thanks to the staff, we had a very nice trip despite the rainy weather.
Mr. Mike was our tour guide and he was so informative, funny, and friendly. All the other staff also went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Tai Chi and cooking classes were nice and relaxing. Other activities were more energetic. Regarding food, it was quite okay but I would love to have seen more vegan options please. Overall, it was a very nice cruise and worth experiencing!
The boat was lovely and beautifully decorated with large and pleasant cabins. All the staff were very helpful and attentive. Lan Ha Bay was stunning and you really should get up early and watch the dazzling sunrise here. The best part of the trip was indeed the 2nd day excursion to Cat Ba island to see a fishing village. The waters were clean and there was no trash, which was a nice sign showing good environment improvements here.
A very relaxing trip in the bay! Everything was well planned from the pick-up in Hanoi until we got back. The bay was actually a bit crowded but the views were still spectacular. Food was excellent with many different courses. The boat was cozy and featured beautiful colonial styles. I would definitely recommend this cruise company for sure!
