Oriental Sails cruise was built over 10 years ago and the most recent renovation was in 2014. Thus, it is a bit old and run-down. This wooden junk follows the traditional style and is decorated with many wooden furnishings. On the ship, you still find many modern facilities and good accommodations.
Cabin quality
18 cabins on the ship are of medium size and boast a lovely wooden décor. Most units are located on the ground floor and are most suitable for families and small expedition groups. You can enjoy an indulgent night’s sleep on the twin or double bed with luxuriant linens and experience a handful of high-quality in-room amenities.

The property ensures a relaxing stay with basic amenities and decent services. It includes a restaurant and bar, a sundeck for sunbathing and organizing events, and a common sitting area.

Everything onboard was impressive but the food quality was inconsistent. Despite that, this cruise provided the perfect balance of relaxation and exploration, and the crew's warmth made it even better.
Such an unforgettable adventure on this cruise. I sailed with this cruise line for the third time, and it never disappoints. The captain and tour guide provided us with a lot of information about the bay. Highly recommended for those seeking an educational journey.
Oriental Sails was a family-friendly cruise that lived up to its promise. I really enjoyed the food, the spa and the entertainment options. The only downside was the occasional noise in the cabin corridors. Halong Bay was beautiful as well but a bit crowded.
Oriental Sails cruise exceeded our expectations with amazing price and services! The gourmet dining options were exceptional, and the cultural excursion at pearl farm village was a highlight. Our cabin was comfortable and beautiful with large windows viewing the bay. Friendly and professional staff too, all added to a great experience.
A bit disappointing because the traditional junk was old and overcrowded, making it hard to enjoy the amenities. While the destinations on Halong Bay were beautiful, a huge number of tourists at the same site, making it pity, hard to breathe. The overall experience was not good at all.
I and my family had a wonderful time on this cruise. The quality of the cruise was still good even though it is a bit old. The variety of onboard activities kept us entertained all the time. Halong Bay destinations were stunning, especially the cave. The crew was friendly and made us feel at home throughout the journey.
Oriental Sails was absolutely an amazing cruise. It provided great luxury and entertainment on this cruise. I loved the view from the balcony, it was breathtaking ocean views. Other things were also impeccable, from abundant food to the attentive staff. A truly memorable experience!
