Excellent cruise! Amazing guide! Mr. Dave spoke excellent English and he had a great sense of humor too. The cabin was ok and convenient. The delicious Vietnamese food always made me feel cozy and pleased. We loved the time spent with the cruise and we will definitely come back some day!
The whole crew were very attentive and thoughtful. Our room had a private balcony with magnificent ocean views. The only downside was that we could not sleep well because the room was at the back of the ship and got noisy due to the engine. Activities such as making spring rolls, mini golf, kayaking,... were interesting!
We were a group of 7 friends and spent 3 days on the cruise! The main activities with the cruise were kayaking and caving. All the rooms were lovely but one of our cabins got a little noisy because of the engine. The boat ran smoothly and the seas were calming too. We loved Titov Island, there were so many things to do there - hiking, swimming, sightseeing. The bays were absolutely spectacular!
My family spent 2 days with Santa Maria Cruise. We must say the boat was very well maintained and the bays were perfect. The first day was absolutely wonderful but on the second day, we would prefer to have explored the beach longer. Our tour guide was great and sociable. I would definitely recommend this cruise to my friends! Keep it up!
Great cruise! The transfer from Hanoi and back was efficient and the bus was modern with wifi and comfy seats. The rooms were nice with splendid views and basic amenities. All meals were great and diverse, but note that the drinks were not included. Surprise Cave was certainly the highlight, very beautiful with amazing natural patterns. The weather was quite rainy but we still had so much fun! We also tried squid fishing but could not catch any.
We really enjoyed the experience with Santa Maria Cruise although we had to wait quite long for check-in at first. The ship was clean and well decorated. Food was incredible and they served about 8 courses for lunch and dinner, which was amazing and fulfilling. The chef also catered well to my vegetarian requests, thanks so much for that! Drinks were pricey, water was 30k, soft drink was 50k, and coffee was 69k. Happy hour here was to buy 2 get 1 free. The expeditions were fun and activities made sure you would not get bored.
The accommodation was small but very neat and convenient. The boat was a little bit old though, it really needed better maintenance and updates. Great activities on board such as cooking classes, squid fishing, mini golf,... Halong Bay was stunning and the weather was really favorable on the day we traveled. The excursions were awesome!
The boat itself was beautiful and Ms. Thuy, the tour guide, was very informative and passionate with good English. Activities such as kayaking, caving, and swimming at the beach were enjoyable and fun too. The facilities were a little bit old and should be updated, but our room was superb and cozy. All meals were served on board and the quantity was huge and the taste was delicious. One thing was that drinks were not included and quite costly.
