@Limeva0908, Please find our answers to your questions below:

(1) Depending on each cruise schedule, the departure time at the port ranges from 12:00 to 12:30 pm. So you need to arrive at the port at 11:30 - 11:45 am for the check-in procedure.

(2) It is not difficult to find the cruise since we will provide you with the cruise address and there will be staff at the waiting area to support you.

(3) You will return to the port at around 11:00-12:00. There will be enough time for you to reach the airport by 4 pm.

If you need more information, feel free to contact us.

Regards,

@Aqsha Nur, Most cruises include a visit to Sung Sot cave on the second day, and breakfast is served quite late. We do not believe that you will have enough time to visit both the Sung Sot cave and have breakfast, as well as take a speedboat back to the port.

@Tan Vu, it is possible to arrange a transfer from Cai Lan port to Tuan Chau Harbor for a 2-day, 1-night cruise. The estimated cost will vary depending on the cruise grade (midrange to luxury) and route options (Halong Bay, Lan Ha Bay, and Bai Tu Long Bay). We have just sent you an email with some options to consider!

@Gill If you're looking for a mid-range cruise, the La Casta Regal (135 USD/pp ~ 112.81 GBP) is worth considering. They offer various activities such as kayaking, cave exploration, and cooking classes, as well as comfortable accommodations and good food. They also offer round-trip transportation to and from Hanoi for 20 USD/pp. Another option to consider is the Genesis Cruise (https://www.halongbaytours.com/cruise/genesis-luxury-regal-cruise.html). It's slightly more expensive (155$US/pp ~ 130GBP) than La Casta Regal but still falls within the mid-range budget.

My wife and I will arrive in Hanoi on Feb 27 and stay until March 5. We would like to spend 3-5 days in Halong Bay if the weather is warm enough to swim or enjoy beach. But we heard the weather is still cool (16C-18C) at the end of February. We love authentic, beautiful, less developed areas with fewer crowds. We heard Halong Bay is beautiful but very crowded? We are open to different ideas so long as the area is not more than 2-3 hours from Hanoi by car.

@Richard E Korb Halong bay is not very crowded in Feb-March because it is not the peak domestic tourist season. However, the weather may not be favorable for outdoor activities like swimming (often between 16-24C). Our suggestion is still staying in a hotel nearby the Halong bay area and then take an overnight cruises around the bay on the next day!
